Overview
Sebastian arrived in the Colony Uchumachi in 1979, from the city of Coroico. The same year he acquired his land and began to work in coffee production and work together with his family. In 2000 he entered the Cooperative CIANA, where he stayed very little time on account of problems that caused him to leave. In 2004, he participated in the Cup of Excellence through the Cooperativa CIANA. This year he participated individually, with production from his land. From the beginning of the harvest they worked very carefully manually selecting the fruits because he and his family are very optimistic, declaring that they will win a place in the competition. His children work in the harvest and undertook all of the wet processing very carefully. Quality control helped us to participate in the Cup of Excellence because it guided us to do what we needed in the wet processing. The radio programs were another incentive to participate in the competition. The radio keeps us informed about coffee production and markets.
